Lina Calle 85

2Latitudes recientemente terminó el diseño y la construcción del paisajismo del nuevo edificio de restaurantes Lina Calle 85, diseñado por Octubre Arquitectos en Bogotá. El proyecto cuenta con un jardín vertical de cinco pisos estructurado con una serie de materas de distintos tamaños, un patio interior y un antejardín. El concepto de la vegetación se origina de utilizar especies comestibles y aromáticas y grandes porciones del muro verde contienen especies que producen frutos y otras que refrescan con su aroma, (como curubas, granadillas y romero rastrero). Ademas, debido al hecho de que el jardín vertical y el patio se encuentran en un lugar sombreado, la vegetación propuesta se escogió para manejar esta falta de luz y ya está prosperando en los jardines. El edificio todavía está en proceso, pero las abejas ya se han mudado como los primeros huéspedes disfrutando de este oasis verde en la mitad de la ciudad.

2Latitudes recently finished the greenery in the new restaurant building Lina Calle 85, designed by Octubre Arquitectos in Bogotá. The project contains a five story green wall structured with pots, an inner shaded patio and a front garden on the outside. The concept for the vegetation originates from the kitchen garden and big parts of the green wall contain species with various flavors, smells and textures. Also, due to the fact that the green wall and patio are located in a shaded place, the proposed vegetation was picked to handle the lack of light and is already thriving in the gardens. The building is still in process but the bees have already moved in as the first guests to enjoy the greenery!
